Metal rolling plant

Domestic manufacturing facility is one of RM-Steel’s basic advantages. Production capacities allow manufacturing the complete range of high quality products meeting Russian GOST and European DIN standards. The manufacturing plant has been successfully certified and licensed by major classification societies, i.e. Russian River Register, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas (Norway), Germanischer Lloyd (Germany), Lloyd’s Register (the Great Britain).

The technological equipment is used for manufacturing of various products:

• Symmetrical and asymmetrical flat-bulb steel no. 5-24Á GOST 21937 and no. 80-240 DIN 1019, EN 10067, steel grade (category): A, B, D, A32, D32, E32, A36, D36, E36, A40, D40, A40S, D40S, 10HN3MD (AB 2-2), 45G17YUZ
• Specific steel profiles for vehicle and mechanical engineering industry: KAMAZ wheel rim profile; door hinges for VAZ, UAZ; braking bars of railway car retarders; seal of coking plant, turbo generator stator wedges.
• L-profile steel for the construction of floating drilling rigs, offshore ship building industry.

The technological line comprises three hot rolling mill stands 630/420 with reversible first stand, and one cold rolling mill stand 630/420, heating furnace, furnace for thermal treatment in protected environment, roll-flatteners and stretch flatteners as well as other specialized equipment.

High power parameters and rigidity of roll stands ensure high geometrical precision and set mechanical properties of end product with minimum number of mill travels.

At present the equipment of the complex allows manufacturing complicated and non-standard steel profiles that can be used in many industries. RM-Steel LLC’s rolling mill complex specializes in this type of production.
