History

RM-Steel Company is a young ambitious company with great prospects. During a relatively short period of development it has proven as an active and effective player in shipbuilding steel plates deliveries.

 

2005         The company was founded as a commercial organization and a professional supplier of rolled steel for shipbuilding plants in Russia and abroad.     

2006         Shot blasting equipment for ship steel plates treatment purchased and commissioned. Service metal centers established; annual output of treated shipbuilding steel reaches 27 000 tons.     

2009         Commissioning of steel gas and plasma arc cutting equipment. With additional shot blasting lines put into operation, output of treated shipbuilding steel plates goes up reaching 100 000 tons per year.   

2010         The critical year in the company’s history. Purchase of metal rolling plant belonging to Turbine Blades Manufacturing Plant and Power Machines OJSC. The company started manufacturing flat-bulb steel, the major type of steel plates at the market.

2011         Having purchased metal rolling plant at the end of 2011, the company and its products have been successfully certified and licensed.
